"Came in Handy this Past Winter 2010" 2010-07-11
By Kwenon (Virginia USA)
Bought this for my family and they loved it. Really came in handy this past winter 2010 blizzard season when all of the stores like Lowe's and Home Depot were all out of stock and found mine right on Amazon. It did take 2 weeks to receive it but it came in handy when the next big snow storm came.

Great design doesn't hurt your hands when you have mountains of snow to shovel. Excellent product!

"I LOVE this Shovel!" 2010-03-25
By Cynthia A. Cole (Latrobe, PA)
I live in PA, and with the winter we just had, I was doing ALOT of shoveling. I even broke the old shovel that I had, during one of the earlier snow storms. When I tried to get a shovel locally, there were none available. I am glad now, because this is the best snow shovel i've ever used. Removes the snow, and DOES NOT kill your back. I love it!

"Makes me appreciate the quality of every other shovel I've owned" 2010-03-16

Assembly. How tough could it be? Insert handle into scoop, fasten, done - right? Apparently not.

There are two screws, and two screw holes in the metal handle. After trying to jam the handle down into the thing far enough to get even one of the holes to match for about 10 minutes, I saw that the plastic in the scoop near the handle was getting lighter (i.e. weakening). So I fought another 10 minutes to get the blasted handle back out, and then had to cut about 4 inches of the grip material off the bottom with a utility knife to get it back in. It was then that I noticed that I could only line up one screw and not the other. Rather than get out the drill and try to make my own hole in this miserable, awkward thing, I just used the one screw and when I went to use it I realized that it was actually more difficult to maneuver than both a proper ergonomic shovel or just even a straight handled one.

Not worth it at any price.

"Great Shovel for Heavy Snow" 2010-03-03

Great Shovel for really heavy or thick snow otherwise I use the tradition straight shaft version of this same shovel

"a perfect shovel and very sturdy" 2010-02-12

I cannot tell you how great this shovel is. I'm in the DC area and we caught two huge snowstorms. This shovel had arrived a week earlier.

The snow was heavy and packed from the plows. It cut through the snow and ice with less effort then any shovel I've had in the past. The lifting was definitely easier thanks to the design and in no time I was making a nice track through 4 feet of snow.

I'm not a young woman so this was a godsend. Well done Amazon for the quick delivery and Suncast for a well thought out product.
